Giving is an Act of Faith

We believe that what we offer makes a difference in the world.

We appreciate any financial contribution to our mission and operations. Your donation allows us to support our community, pay our staff, and maintain our church buildings.

You can set up a one-time or recurring electronic donation. Simply select click the electronic giving link below, choose the fund you want to give to in the dropdown list (e.g. "Pledge, General Fund, Share the Plate"), enter your information, and click "Donate Now." It's as easy as that!

Pledging

You can offer a recurring donation, what we call a “pledge”.  Each spring we hold a Pledge Drive and use these figures to plan and create a budget for our fiscal year, which starts July 1. You can make this type of sustaining pledge and be a UUI “Friend” or you can become a UUI Member with the rights and responsibilities of membership. Either way, we are strengthened by and depend on your support.

UUI also offers Text to Give!

Giving to UUI is as easy as sending a text on your smartphone. This is a great way to give to the offering plate during the virtual service without leaving Zoom! 

To give by text on your smartphone, text a $ amount to (317) 483-7999. The first time only, you will be sent a link to take you to a secure webpage where you will enter your payment information. Every time after that, your donation will process automatically.

Here are some examples of how it works:

• Text “$10” to (317) 483-7999 to give $10 to the General Fund. (Don’t type the quotes, just type $10 or even just 10.)

• Text “$10 Pledge” to (317) 483-7999 to give $10 to be counted towards your pledge.

• Text “$10 Share” to (317) 483-7999 to give $10 to the Share the Plate fund.

You can give any amount. You will receive a text in response saying your gift has been received. That’s it!
